Academic Background

Daniel Haider is studying mathematics at the University of Vienna since 2012 with an emphasis on applied mathematics and scientific computing.
Currently he is finishing his masterthesis about the "Scattering Transform" under the supervision of Peter Balazs.

Current Research

Since November 2018 Daniel is a member of the workgroup "Mathematics and Signal Processing in Acoustics" as part of the FLAME-project and is working on time-frequency representations in the context of machine learning, in particular on the "Scattering Transform" regarding to phase information.
